Jack performs a poem that's been with him a while (and with some of you a bit longer). Jack George performs the classic "Sierry Petes" during the "Highlights of the Open Mic" show at the 36th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jack George works on many local ranches and has been doing cowboy poetry for the past couple years. Jack is inspired by his grandpa who was a horse trader. His repertoire includes a stable of staples, such as Strawberry Roan, Tying Knots in the Devil's Tail, Mad Jack's Dog, Goodbye Old Man, and Sierry Petes. He was 13 years old at the time of filming.
