Jacqueline Irwin
Thermopolis, WY
Jacqueline Irwin is a 17-year-old cowboy poet from Thermopolis, Wyoming. She grew up around horses, rodeos, and hardworking people, which fostered a deep love for the Western way of life and sharing stories. She draws inspiration for her poetry from her community and the traditions of the American West. When she’s not writing poetry, she spends her time working with horses, attending rodeos, and staying active in the cowboy lifestyle. Jacqueline is a recipient of this year’s Della Johns Scholarship.
