ABOUT THE ARTIST
Carin Mari
Buena Vista, CO
Inspired by the mountains of Colorado where she was born and raised, Carin Mari is passionate about telling stories from the heart. Western music quickly became her focus when friend and mentor Michael Martin Murphey suggested she learn "I Want To Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart.” After years of continued dedication, Carin’s talents as a guitarist and singer-songwriter have won her numerous awards, including a Texaco Country Showdown trip to Nashville where she played her original songs on stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium. While pursuing her own career, Carin is also thrilled to be the lead guitar player in Michael Martin Murphey’s Rio Grande Band. Carin co-produced her new album, Home, which is her fourth professional project as a solo artist.
