ABOUT THE ARTIST
Savannah Deuter
Huson, MT
Savannah lives in the Six Mile Valley of Huson, Montana, where she grew up with a guitar in her hands and wood smoke in her hair. She now works teaching horse packing clinics and leading youth horse packing summer camps in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Because she was raised within and across America’s landscapes, Savannah has a deep-seated passion for conserving our nation’s public lands. She finished her degree at the University of Montana in Parks, Tourism, and Recreation Management this December. Savannah is one of the recipients of this year’s Rod McQueary & Sue Wallis Scholarship.
