Clancy Ballard
Kanab, UT
Clancy Ballard grew up ranching in southern Utah, where he developed a great love for the cowboy lifestyle. He finds joy in being a good steward of the land and livestock. Since he was a teenager, Clancy has been playing guitar and writing songs that reflect his experiences as a cowboy. Most of his songs and poems are based on real experiences and stories from his life, as well as his faith. Clancy is a recipient of this year’s Ian Tyson Memorial Fund scholarship.
